Our client is one of the world’s premier digital media companies. It is headquartered in California, and has more than 13,000 employees in 25 countries, with revenues of $6.4 billion in 2010.
Capstone was selected by the customer to provide technical support services for our client’s 3 European locations in the UK, France & Ireland. These sites include resources from sales, marketing, regional shared services, IT development and customer services.
Capstone is responsible for delivery of a multi-lingual Managed Services across our client’s European sites on a 24x7x365 basis. This includes fault management, helpdesk services, remote system monitoring, change requests and advice, onsite engineering services and manufacturer. In 2010 Capstone undertook a multi-site European technology migration project which moved our client from multiple legacy technology software versions to a common uniform communications platform across the region. This project included Technical Design, Project Management, Installation Engineering and Training.
Following the regional upgrade project, and having benefitted from a single regional communications foundation, Capstone is now assisting our client to address the collaboration needs of its people by undertaking a pilot around desktop video applications and Avaya collaboration tools. Capstone is also advising our client regarding the benefits associated with SIP and Presence technologies.
